Trying to unlink a cross save account
I'm trying to unlink an xbox account linked with my bungie account all I'm provided with is a gamer tag that I definetely didn't make even as a kid when I made my bungie account, I have no means of accessing the email linked with that gamer tag. Any suggestions?

2 RepliesHi there. Accounts cannot be unlinked while a Cross Save is active. To unlink an account you must deactivate Cross Save, which requires authenticating the login credentials of each account linked to your profile. Bungie does not have access to any account credential information, so if you can't authenticate the Xbox account, you will need to contact Xbox Support to see if they can do anything. Hi Im SwatBungie fan, here since 2008. - old
The only way to remove an account is to log into it. If you can't log into it, you won't be able to remove it. This is for security reasons. Bungie is unable to remove accounts, only we can.
