Just wondering if anyone else feels that way.
Edit 1: let's get some bumps on here to show bungie what's up!

I think since silver dust is an in game currency AND material there should be ways to obtain it in game just like glimmer, strange coins, and legendary marks. I don't mind them selling extra ornaments so much but the silver dust... 😒

Edited by queenmeeny77: 9/24/2016 2:59:38 PMIn a couple of weeks there will be a rash of posts degrading anyone with ornaments because it is only possible with real world $$. Some of those people will feel ashamed and remove the ornaments. Some will feel superior and wear them proudly (these are the people that take up three spots with their Porsche). Those two groups likely have very differing temperament and playstyles. For example: how likely is it that you would want to raid with someone posting on lfg next week if you looked at their character and saw several ornaments? Would you immediately make a judgement on that person as being kind of spoiled, and likely cocky? It's OK, you are human and your brain is wired to make those types of judgements. Used to be to protect yourself from tigers, now a-holes are the bigger threat. Now you'll be able to spot a peacock from ten paces. It was similar with the taken armor. People that had a full set the first week were laughed at. Didn't help they insisted on wearing it in the crucible so they were a huge glowing bullseye. I'm not saying everyone who wears their money is obnoxious, but the chances are exponentially higher.

its just another cash grab influenced by activision, they feel the small amount of content was worth way more that $30, even though it was less than half the amount of content we got with ttk for $40.

No. Angeldust on the other hand, love it.

Edited by x AcClaiMz x: 9/25/2016 1:14:04 AMI despise mt but even if we all say we hate them, take them out, bla bla, there are thousands willing to spend the money on them. My friend once spent 200$ on crap for neverwinter having never played it. 😑
-
It's stupid!😒
-
Ay. Not a fan.
-
I could've dealt with buying things with it but equipping is absurd
-
Every five weeks you get to buy one thing from Xur, woohoo. Other than the stupid prices it's OK enough, but I still despise MT.

Edited by Unspokenmikey: 9/24/2016 9:14:56 PMSee bungie silver dust is douchey :/
-
1 per week is just forcing people towards micro transaction. Hate it.
-
This game is going pay to win step by step with every dlc
-
They keep adding more and more in the market yet we can't customize more than one emote slot, smh. I'm glad they didn't add yet another currency you HAD to collect.
-
I'm not a fan of a lot of this update. The economy is out of whack and the grind is stupid. It is almost like Bungie wrote down the mistakes from Taken King and buffed them in ROI. I like the game, but get tired of the stupid grind just to play the endgame.
-
Doesn't bother me, it seems to only apply to cosmetic stuff from what I've seen so far. I don't really care about the cosmetic stuff. Is there something else it applies to other than cosmetics that I haven't seen yet?
-
I'm not interested in anything that either requires real money or offers an easier path by paying real money. Those things I universally reject. Saying you could get it by playing isn't being completely honest... it trickles in. Sure, you can fill a swimming pool with a drinking straw sized hose, but it's going to take a while...
-
Not a fan either.
-
I'm a little peeved that they hyped up ornaments so much and never once said they were gonna get locked behind a paywall for the most part. I dunno why they feel the need to add an entirely new currency with every expansion
-
-
At least they made it so u can dismantle ornaments you don't want for 5 silver dust.
-
What this game DIDN'T need was yet another economy. It's -blam!-ing stupid.
My suspicion is that Bungie believes they were too generous with Sterling Treasures, and limiting the Radiant Treasure to 1 per week will increase profit. Truth is Bungie really wants you to buy vanity items with real $ through micro-transactions.
- BNet user DeusFever on a similar thread. I can't add any more to this. It's summed up perfectly.
-
Just you wait! When gears 4 drops this mother fcukin punk ass game is getting put on the shelf...
-
Would be but damn you need so much for the exotic cool looking lion one on armors. :@
-
As long as it remains something for vanity items, I don't care. It's passively sinister but I can ignore it and continue on.

Not a fan. Not buying it. Dances are fine, but now they are even selling boosters. Not good.
