Suggestion about getting Exotics
*I used translator. If I use rude expressions I'm sorry in advance!
Please make a way to focus on just one Exotic that a player wants, such as mileage.
The experience of getting only unnecessary Exotics despite work for several days causes exhaustion. Even the opportunities from Lost Sector aren't guaranteed ones.
Above all, the number of Exotics is increasing continuously, so focusing will be necessary someday.
+ I think I should have written more details.
What I want isn't just Exotics, but Exotics which have stat rolls** that make my strategy possible for diverse goals. In my case, I need Exotics with the stats I want in order to achieve near-infinite invisibility or fast ability cycle to deal with diverse crises in solo dungeons.
**I don't know how to say these things in English...the Discipline, the Recovery, etc.
Also, I guess there are a lot of people who have to dig up old ones with certain stats again for reasons such as buildmaking, PVP, accident that delete the one, etc.
It's my opinion Bungie should consider this suggestion if it's possible.

Thought I'd read this and disagree...but you got me. For those people looking for a good role on a specific exotic...it's getting near impossible because of the pool.

7 RepliesIm just tired of getting the same 3 exotics over and over and over again. I have been blessed with like 3 world drop exotics within the last month, all 3 of them were -blam!- crown of tempests.

It's the law of unintended consequences. You can't keep adding loot, to a loot pool without also decreasing the odds. My suggestion is to give us a new ghost mod to focus exotics or pinnacles, like we have already to focus our armour stats, mobility ,recovery, etc... So for example It could be used to focus the exact slot we want a pinnacle drop, so no more class item drops. Also It could also be used to focus exotic engram from any source. For example instead of getting exotic helmets, or chest, when you wanted exotic boots.

Actively farming for exotic armor is too much of an ask nowadays with 30-ish pieces in the pool. Focusing would go a long way towards this but I highly doubt we’ll get anything meaningful like that any time soon.

I gave up on exotic farming at all, you spend precious time for nothing, not even Xur helps, I swear, every time I open his exotic engram I get Astrocyte Verse or Winter's Guile, Lost Sector? give up, Nightfall? is the same as nothing. The PVE reward system needs more attention, it's very disheartening, you can never take what you want or use what you want, it's the first game I've seen where creativity is prohibited.

I agree, its not like armors break the game to begin with. Maximizing stats wont suddenly break pvp or even pve, it would be amazing to be able to farm for specific exotics and have the ability to farm for specific stats. The ghost helps but having to rely on the ghost to give me an intellect and strength stats is just too much RNG. Having to then hope to even get the exotic I want in order to make a build is just impossible.

Maybe they'll bring glass needles back again. With the direction bungies going with wanting to have more build crafting maybe they'll let us fine tune armor stats

2 RepliesI seriously agree, i spec’d into an assasins cowl build and for some reason giving you an exotic with a 48 stat roll is acceptable for PvE campaign rewards so thats what i have, but its been 2 years and i have yet to actually get a world drop of it, there’s absolutely no reason it should be so inconveniently random to get an exotic you want, especially considering ive gotten arthrys embrace about 6 times from random engrams this season

16 RepliesWhen it comes to Exotic Armor the Lost Sectors are tuned to give you Exotics you don't have first. So is Xur's engram, but only for World drop Exotics, not LS Exotics. There's still RnG involved, but what you're asking for already exists.
