It ruins everything, but Trials is the most affected game mode, if you get matched with someone like this you will lose every gunfight with him! We macthed one cheater a week ago, reported and blocked him and my friend have matched him again today. They don't get banned. The nature of exploit is akin to Call of Duty jitter-mode cheat that makes slow guns fire insanely fast. It cancels burst cooldown on pulse rifles and OMOLON SIDEARMS. Many smart players use it only on sidearms because they kill really fast anyway, so it's really hard to tell if it was a lag or a cheat. That is exactly why Bungie cannot tolerate this, bans wont help, the game itself needs to be fixed to prevent the possibility of cheating like that. It's the same situation as with emote wall glitch. Every player versus player activity is compromised. Bungie needs to know about this!
