Lorentz Driver OP?
Xbox. Im not saying its OP but its extremely deadly, killing with ease at short, medium and long range, very annoying to be constantly killed by it fairly often. Users of this weapon of course will downvote or say get good bro, but seriously it seems too good, unless of course your in the top skilled % of players with best map awareness and barely die to anything full stop.
maybe im wrong, ive always found weapons with EASY 1 shot kill capability at medium to long ranges annoying and negative to a good gaming experience. other than that pvp seems best its ever been except hardly any maps to play. what are your thoughts?

11 AntwortenIt's stupidly broken. Broken in all its aspects. Ginormous hit box, 0 flinch by any weapon. And with relative ease, through any dmg increase methods (charged with light, inertia override etc.) You one body all... one body... 199 to the body. It's stupid. It's on the border of being moronic. I'd rather face 2 or 3 jotunns in IB, that face a Lorentz Driver. It's dimwitted...

2 AntwortenI know it has really high aim assist and very high body damage, but I rarely see it. I saw maybe one or two people using it the last time I played control, and I haven’t seen it in elimination or IB at all lately. Don’t get me wrong, it’s annoying. I play on XBOX.

Played against a couple of guys in the top 0.1%. Using Lorenz. The way they were getting multi kill headshots with targets spread wide across the map almost looked as if they were cheating. But im not entirely sure if cheating is possible on console.

I don't know how they couldn't see this comming lol look at arbalist.. it was broken for years.. so they nerf it.. then give out a better arbalist but with a blackmore effect that deals massive damage

2 AntwortenIt 100% is OP... People are running double or triple enhanced linear targeting mods, giving it nearly 70 aim assist. The accuracy cone on linears is also extremely lenient. It received little flinch, especially with unflinching mods. Allowing you to shoot through any incoming fire with ease. It charges in half a second, meaning that no primary weapon except last word can kill you before your shot goes off or you will just trade. So all in all, it shoots fast af, has incredible accuracy and can easily shoot through flinch. AND THEN, it can suck in surrounding enemies and kill anyone slightly weak, gain 30 seconds of body shot ohk that’s resettable and any damage bonus from mods or abilities also allow you to one shot to the body... ☝️ That’s what we call a heavy weapon Can’t believe this gun made it through testing...

In PvP it is functionally indistinguishable from a heavy weapon. The same can be said for arbalest.

It’s a weird argument because it’s basically as strong as a sniper. like Adored. With the perks it has, it does have some pretty good aim assist and it’s quite clear linears were a focus point for this season for once. I imagine come WQ we’ll be seeing a new focus on weapons and the usage will settle down a fair bit.

For every time you get deleted that poor gamer using it got destroyed several times. It's useless against mobile players. Try moving. And btw, pvp is terrible right now. You must be on PC because cross play on console has killed any fun that might be had. I threw my console in the closet and I'm on my laptop now.

1 Antworteni sometimes go through whole games without dieing from a primary weapon. they can reduce the aimassist etc but it wont make a difference and if you make it so that it cant 1 shot then it will be useless, i know people dont want to hear this but this is an ammo economy issue, you should not be able to get even close to as many special weapon kills as your primary kills in a game also there is very little counterplay if you dont want to join the special weapon spamming club ,getting oneshoted when you try to have an honest gunfight is just lame be it lorenz or any other "special" weapon. i would realy like to see what those people would be like if they were forced to use their primaries instead also to anyone saying that it would bring us back to Y1 it wont . right now suros is doint 36 to the head, these are pre nerf vanilla d1 numbers, the ttk of primaries is way faster than it was in Y1 or i at least want to have my TLW at full strength doing 111 tlo the head 68 to the body like it used to so i can kill shotgun apes without having to eqquip one of those cursed weapons myself to have a chance

Go ahead and say it. It isn't much of a secret. The question is after arbalest and what it was to the crucible how in the world does this happen? Simple they are unaware of how things work in pvp and honestly don't care. Their policy is come in with a mop six months later. Has worked well so far why change now.

12 AntwortenYou essentially can't challenge Lorentz unless you're using a sniper, arbalest or Lorentz. It'll hit heads through flinch 90% of the time and when it doesn't, still hits body. The aim assist is overturned but it's flinch is the real issue. A primary within its own range should be able to pressure Lorentz with flinch
