Buffs and change to Handcannon archetypes.
Nerfs to Sniper - likely affecting Console snipers disproportionately.
Some partial backpedalling on 600rpm autos.
More nerfs to Pinnacle weapons.
And yet no mention whatsoever of the statistical overuse of Shotgun, it's archetype breaking perks, special ammo economy allowing unrestricted use, the decimation of the Special competition: legendary fusions and now sniper.
Once more the unaddressed elephant in the room
: Shotgun overuse.

Bearbeitet von SScottF 2112: 10/25/2020 12:24:57 AMBetter players tend to want the meta to always be shotgun, hand cannon and sniper. Bungie has gone along with this for much of D1 and D2. We've had hand cannon replaced with other primaries, but other than at the end of D2 we've about always had sniper and shotgun in the meta. Remember that they've messed with shotguns a lot over the years. Typically if they take 1 meter, or 1/2 meter off, that just means that with how fast our characters move, the CQC battles then involve getting closer for a fraction of a second. Maybe the only way they ever really reduced shotgun use was by taking away special ammo at the end of D1. This pretty much forced us to use sidearms. I don't hear the masses shouting that we want only sidearms to spawn with ammo, so you may want to get used to shotguns always being used a lot.
