FromSoft and George RR Martin Collaboration Discussion Thread
So, there were rumours about this a couple of weeks ago. And it looks like they're true.
So far, we know nothing for sure about this game, other than that both From Software (Dark Souls) and George RR Martin (A Song of Ice and Fire) are involved.
Rumour has it, it's open world (sorry Aifos) with horseriding, where you ride across the world to various kingdoms and kill their leaders to absorb their powers, which imo could mean there are Metroid elements.
But who knows how much of this is rumour, and how much will become true.

4 AntwortenNot sure about an open world FromSoftware game. Their strength has always been amazing labyrinthine level design. They excel at smaller linear levels that twist and fold back in on each other. Open world doesn’t really allow for that so I’m a little skeptical. As for the GRRM collaboration that might be good. Hopefully it means they’ll be returning to a western themed medieval setting like Dark Souls - which I prefer over the Japanese setting of Sekiro.
