Not sure about an open world FromSoftware game. Their strength has always been amazing labyrinthine level design. They excel at smaller linear levels that twist and fold back in on each other. Open world doesn’t really allow for that so I’m a little skeptical.
As for the GRRM collaboration that might be good. Hopefully it means they’ll be returning to a western themed medieval setting like Dark Souls - which I prefer over the Japanese setting of Sekiro.

I agree with all that. However, I am interested to see how From handle open world design. They've proven again and again that they are excellent at world design, so if anyone can pull it off - it's probably them.
