After getting the new DLC today I can confirm for myself anyways that the HDR is now working like it use to before Forsaken Patch. I can clearly see on the tower now at night and Lost Sectors are visable. I am on the Xbox One X playing on a Q8FN QLED. Thanks Bungie!

Bearbeitet von King David 73: 3/2/2019 1:55:32 PMI have the same issue. Pre-Forsaken, everything looked great. Post-Forsaken, blacks are completely crushed and all details are completely gone. Just pure black. Raising HDR black levels / TV brightness just makes the crushed blacks into crushed grays. Turning HDR off, raising brightness, then turning HDR back on helps a little bit, but it's nowhere near as good as it was and some areas are completely unplayable.

I've linked an interesting article which talks a little more about this issue. Basically, HDR should be working as intended. Destiny is a game focusing on the light and dark, amongst other things. I believe the stark contrast in light and dark environments are on purpose. You'll want to check out the article to ensure you are calibrating correctly. For my TV, I went to my Xbox One X and turned off HDR. I then reloaded Destiny and set the brightness to 4. I then went back and turned on HDR on the console. It helps ensure the game is being viewed as intended.
