Similar specs. i7 2600k not oc-ed 16gb ddr3 Geforce 970 gtx os and game running off non-ssd drives No stuttering. I'm not trying to do 4k or anything. But i also got Batman Arkham Knight on PC at release and never had any issues with it. So i consider myself fairly lucky when it comes to running games and not having issues.
I don't and never had any stutter issues.
Well, if you think you didn't have stutter issues right after 1.0.6.1, you simply can't identify stutter. In a way, i envy you.

Not everyone is having stuttering issues but a lot of people are. I haven't had any stuttering in this game so far and yes I can identify it just fine. I'm also not going to waste time making a video about it mainly because I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to recording game footage. You'll just have to take my word for it. I hope they address this issue and fix it in the next patch because I have had stuttering in other games and frankly it makes games nearly unplayable. Is the game consistently stuttering for you or is it fine when you first start and begins stuttering after you've played for a little while?

(just type settings in search bar) Click Gaming Turn Game Bar to ON Click on GameDVR on the left, and select 60fps under Recorded Video. Enter Destiny 2 Press Windows Key + G, and then click the red dot to start recording. After you're done, press Win + G again, and then click the square to stop. Your video will be at (This PC / videos) by default. Uploading it to Youtube should also be extremely easy. (EDIT : it's actually as easy as clicking on your account > my channel > upload> drag and drop. just checked for my own video.) Make sure to play public events for about half an hour around Nessus failsafe's location or EDZ near the vendor, and then slowly move your mouse horizontally to check smoothness. The stutter looks like a disturbance in the movement of the camera, not a "freeze" -like effect that 1.0.6.1 introduced. The first couple of events go smoothly, and then it starts stuttering progressively, until it is borderline unplayable, at least for me. Take note that i always play non-competitive games with v-sync on, because i'm sensitive to stuttering. I'll record a video myself, to show you what i consider smooth gameplay, and a separate video for when the gameplay stutters, probably later tonight.
