Seriously? It's the solar wind from the sun that causes the comets tail. Also, there's no ice in the sun to evaporate and make a tail. Flat earthers cant really be that stupid, can they?

I couldn't throw a bunch of confetti in the air and expect it to form a trail behind Earth. Earth has too much mass/gravity, it would just fall back down. On a small rock in space, with nexto no gravity, it might just get flung out into space forming a trail.

2 AntwortenBecause a comet's motion is not the cause of its tail. The tail is matter ripped off of the comet by the solar wind generated by the sun. What you seem to have neglected is that said tail doesn't follow the path of the comet, instead it always faces in the opposite direction of the sun.
