That is def true. The return on investment doesn’t seem to be justified for a lot of people, myself included. Unfortunately I don’t see it changing any time soon as Bungle is all about minimum effort max profit by the look of things, which is definitely unfortunate, but it is what it is.
It’s really sad too, because the game has so much potential, potential that’s being limited by greed and incompetence at the top. Oh well.

Exactly. It is because D1 and D2 were built different. Once Eververse was established more into D2, it was at this point the game started to decline much further and faster with minimal effort and proper balancing to keep it sustained and fun.
