“What makes a Guardian a Guardian?
There’s plenty o’ answers out there, but when you get down to it, it’s in the name itself.
The Traveler gifted us with the Light so that we could fight back the encroaching Darkness that devastated our world in times past, help mend what was broken and lost.
Those who would go on to wield it for great and virtuous deeds would go forth to pave the reclamation of humanity’s future, but there’s always two sides to the coin, y’hear?
Power is a great yet terrible motivator. It can bring hope and salvation to many, yet still bring fear and misery when it loses its purpose, or rather, when it gets the wrong one.
Ya see, there’s always a thin red line that has to be drawn between how far you’re willing to go, and how far you’re willing to fall and let me tell ya kid...when you cross that line...there aint no way to go back before you end up drowning down there.
If the fall doesn’t kill you...
...the bullets surely will.”

I feel like that worked better when I read it as Drifter honestly. Still really good though.

Glad I wasn’t the only one who read it as the drifter
