Are we going to get a Shin Malphur cinematic?
Like the kind of cutscenes that aren’t for our character, and look gorgeous. Like the cutscenes with the Speaker and Gaul. Or Uldren and Mara.
Just imagine, a cinematic cutscene, that’s about 2-3 minutes long, showing the confrontation between Shin and Dredgen. Or a cinematic montage of Dredgen killing guardians, and Shin killing him.

What I would have loved is if the Infinite Forest could be used to play out past events with OUR Guardian

1 ResponderDoubt it. We’ll probably get some cutscene that’s in that black and white drawn style. I know that cuts cost but I hate when games do that, regardless of how well they are drawn.

2 RespostasNo more cinematics sadly. The budget won't allow it. They spent too much on our guardian talking in forsaken. That nearly bankrupted Activision, which is why they left.

Spoiler alert for January 29th: [spoiler]I remember that in the datamined lore for the Last Word quest, that Shin said something about us probably never meeting him. So it would have to be a cinematic without us. But I would love if he was wrong.[/spoiler]

5 RespostasI would love a story that adds the Shadows of Yor cult as an enemy faction of AI controlled Lightbearers, whom to finish them we have to kill their ghosts. Our Ghost could question our choices the whole story till he sees an atrocity committed by a Lightbearer and comes around to our conviction. I also hope that Drifter decides to stay on our side and that Malphur plays the role of an anti-hero gone too far whose caused an all out war. So eventually we have to put him down too. Keep in mind if a story like this happened Saladin would probably get involved too because the Iron Lords formed to combat evil Lightbearers.

I was reading the story of Dredgen Yor and Shin Malphur on the train earlier and i'd love to see parts of that as cinematics
