Paying for 30mbs, recieving less than 3mbs.
I am with Virgin Media an ISP and I have been losing connection on my computer and Ipad, we phoned them up and got the Ipad wireless boosted.
A week later it cuts off my computer again, then it lags doing everything, even opening google and just found out why.
Anybody else had this situation?

30mbs is the speed you can get up to, not the speed you will get. It's probably best if you're not using the Internet anyway.

No but I heard they'll decrease your serves but make you pay the same price so they save money. You'll have to call and complain more often to get better service.

You pay for what you [b]could[/b] get [b]up to[/b]. This isn't a hard concept it even says it on all the adverts.

I have at&t, pay for 35mbs at a ridiculous price for such slow internet. And receive less than what I pay for. They keep capping it off after they see our usage statistics and keep trying to get us to 'upgrade' for an extra 20 bucks. Screw that.

See if anything is downloading/uploading. If not then try a VPN maybe?
