Hipfire, Melee function and a couple other PvP questions
To the people who got into the Alpha,
How effective was hipfire? Were you able to outstrafe those who were ADSing?
How much does ADS affect movement?
How does melee work? As in, when you have your Cooldown Melee ready, does it automatically use it when you hit the melee button?
What does the 'Player Highlight' button do in PvP?
and finally,
Did you have fun?
From what I've seen, it all looks pretty awesome and I'm hype.

3 OdpowiedziI can weigh in on a couple of these. Hip fire felt pretty weak for a Bungie game. I found myself getting frustrated and switching to ads even at close range. Strafing was decent in both hip fire and ads, but not great. Melee abilities are used whenever you melee and the cool down bar is full. The exception is the hunter's throwing knife, which seems to detect when you are in melee range and only goes off when appropriate. It was definitely fun.
