Lost characters
I'm at a loss and could use some help. I played a lot of d1, ported the characters and played d2 for a long time. I had quit, and just recently wanted to come back to it and bought the new expansions. When I logged in, all my characters were gone. I checked into cross save, and nothing. The only thing I can think of is I had a PS4 before and now have a PS5. I also have steam , but characters are not showing up anywhere whether I have cross save turned on or not. Any suggestions?

You've got about 700 hours in the original Destiny on your PSN account but only 24 minutes of Destiny 2 on a single character, no deleted characters so no imported characters there. You have cross-save set up with Steam as the Active account, but only have 38 minutes played there. So as far as the account you are posting on, there's only about 1 hour of Destiny 2 gameplay, nothing deleted. If you played Destiny 2 for any considerable length of time, it was either on Battle.net and the progress was not migrated, or it was on another PSN account. PS4->5 shouldn't matter if it was the same PSN account.
