As a player that has taken a longggg break from Destiny these past years, due to a whole variety of issues that have arisen over the course of time with Bungie. I had assumed after seeing the newly released Star Wars inspired DLC, that maybe, just maybe D2 might be fun to play again. That is until I saw Bungie still asks for a ludicrous amount of money for just "This Seasons" content. The DLC's cost more now then Destiny 2 did when it was released. (With all the Story/Campaign content... before they removed it all to entice you to pay for more DLC...) DLC is supposed to be additional content and should not cost more then the Title its adding too, not the only content you can play because you removed the base game! The game is nearly 10 Years Old and has sold millions of copies (And DLC's). With all this funding over the years in mind, one would think that something as simple as a website SMS verification, which is MANDATORY to play any of the "Legacy" content, or for any New Accounts. Would be seamless, or at least any issues arisen would be fixed overnight/couple days. Its unfortunate to see this is not the case with Bungie. A Billion Dollar company...cant even verify you via a text. Big Sad. Bungie is aware of this issue for some time now and from the community/player point of view, it feels like they cant be bothered fixing it. A big slap to the face of old and new players. Will not be buying Marathon lol
