Noticed that ruinious effigy catalyst is at xur, so thought I'd maybe login & run a few vanguard alerts, simple enough. Open game, choose tower to get xenology from xur & press start........ 2 mins of sitting in orbit waiting it starts flying me in, 5 mins later still flying, roster full of PS4 & epic accounts, change character & search again. Exact same tower, same scenario. Try again, I'm 10 mins deep at this stage, find a tower & land instantly, weird right. See xur, get xenology, search arena ops & click go. 2 mins searching for players, fly in, 2 min blackscreen bcoz I assume I'm with PS4 players, lands us, battleground core - no thanks, orbit. Then another battleground, then another battleground core, then liminality, then inverted spire, then another battleground core, then liminality. At this stage in 45 mins deep & havent shot a bullet, spent 35 mins flying & loading. Game barely functions & the content really isn't fun anymore, not even strikes are worth the hassle, there's like 9 in rotation & 6 are battlegrounds, inverted spire & liminality just aren't fun at all , & there's 2 I think we are ok. Xenology needs Maybe 18 completions as they give around 6% per completion, & even that requires B or better, seems simple, modifiers point to B reward, but some strikes you can kill everything & be really fast & get C, others you can go slow & skip adds & get A+, makes zero sense & is super irritating when you need 18 completions & very often they don't count towards the goal. All for a cipher. First login for 3 days, had a word with myself & put the Olympics on.
