Bungie, crawing for players? Enabling linux would be first step!
As shrimple as it sounds.
There are many people owning steam deck / refusing to use windows in 2026 because of security reasons / spyware being built into it.
Ticking a linux support box would get atleast some people back. May not be huge increase, but surely would let the community know you are trying to go the right direction.
Hopefully will someone from bungo read this (even tho i don't think thats gonna happen.)

[quote]Ticking a linux support box[/quote] D2 has internal Windows specific code for what some may call an anti-cheat. It is not as simple as ticking a linux support box. This code would have to be modified in a manner similar to the two-stage AC Blizzard used in Overwatch 1. There is zero reason Bungie should do so for such a small market share at this point in the games life. Destiny 2 will NEVER get Linux support in the current Linux ecosystem. BattlEye is implemented entirely in userspace on Linux, it is just a shared library, and can be entirely bypassed with a custom kernel module. If you don't understand this then you don't know Linux enough to advocate for it. Linux is years off being able to have a healthy gaming market until large changes are made with the cooperation of Valve, Linux kernel devs, and Intel/AMD. -
