As the title says, there’s an overwhelming number of cheaters surging in Comp this season. I’ve clipped a few and reported the accounts already but there’s nothing we can do currently. You’re Adept 1 in promotion to Ascendent. You face a cheater who full 900rpm a 600rpm support frame, then teleports constantly. Your entire team sees this happening and you recognize the account. You know this person isn’t good at PvP because you talked to them months ago and they only raid with you, never accepting 1v1s or trials invites. You stat checked them for seasons and they are underwhelmed in low numbers. Suddenly that account carries a 99% accuracy with a sniper rifle in the past 30+ games of comp. Lands a 28kd one game against you and after you noticed they switched platforms, that kd goes to a 0.5. Many players I inspect after the game to see any fluctuating or diminishing performance, and a lot of these accounts seem to be not played by the original owner. After a few days of self indulgence, I’ve decided to go deep into finding how these players actually play to determine the facts of if it’s serviced or not. Out of 128players in the competitive gameplay I’ve faced, just slightly under half are proven to be serviced. I get you want to have the new stuff and emblems, but don’t risk losing your account over some sore dull loser who uses software and methods of cheating. You’ll lose your account as well. Those services may and will use your credentials to perma keep yours account once theirs is banned. With bungie doing a wave and now an IP ban (I’m told), you are now at a severe risk of losing access to Destiny 2, Destiny 1, and maybe even the account as a whole. If you’re looking to get the stuff and need help, then join the discord lfgs made by the community and backed by developers themselves. If you’re too busy, then try another gamemode. It’s not worth losing it all just for a few moments of fame and bragging rights.
