It seems the original idea was to orbit titan, because if you do any seasonal activity on titan back to back, you see your ship above titan's waves. Still, after doing any activity on titan, be it seasonal or crucible/gambit map, you end up orbiting earth. On the same note, after a match on cathedral on dusk, you orbit the moon instead of saturn, and leaving the helm puts you orbiting the moon instead of earth.
