Surely I’m not the only person confused by the lack of endgame pvp content left after the launch of d2. Weekly raids still change on Tuesdays, and Xur still visits a different location every weekend. So why can’t brother Vance actually do something? Passage coins still drop from what I’ve seen, trials weapons are still readily available from crucible bounties, but the armor is some lost exclusive treasure that no one can obtain anymore? The iron companion set can no longer be completed because the wolfswood class items are not found anywhere but the iron banner. The helmet, chest, arms, and boots can be found in dusty iron engrams but class items aren’t, it’s pretty strange to me. I don’t think people want anything new in destiny 1 or anything, but content we had for almost 4 years would be nice. The “live event” excuse doesn’t sit well with me, either. Trials was every week, just like Xur. Would that make Mr. Three of Coins himself a live event? If so why did he get to remain? Iron banner was also every month, the loot wasn’t exactly hard to come by or super exclusive. Maybe there’s some raging corporate fear that endgame pvp modes would strip the player base from destiny 2 but is that even a bad thing? Anyone coming from d2 would have to spend a minimum of $60 just to even play d1. Maybe this post is grasping at straws that are already broken, but I’d like to think that maybe, just maybe, if enough people ask that lady efrideet could return to the iron temple. And maybe brother Vance could do something other than take up space in the reef.
