In game chat not working
Tried checking videos to change chat settings but my settings have an extra tab (social). Cant get anything to work.. headset and mic work through playstation just not in game this is becoming very frustrating

this has happened to me and my friends a lot recently. no idea why it happens, but restarting system works 90% of the time

I had this issue with my wireless mic, the only solution I came to was getting a cheap wired mic, for some reason that works but my wireless one doesn’t, if anyone found a better fix let me know!

There is a setting in the Destiny audio options to turn in game chat on or off. Mine keeps turning itself off (we mostly use Party Chat anyway but sometimes have to switch if there are issues). So try that, maybe its turned off. Another possible issue is the Audio options in the Xbox menus, there are all sorts of settings for Dolby, surround, that MS thing. If you have it on the wrong setting then your headset won't be picking up the channels. Go play with those options, I imagine PS has similar options.

Happened to me with Witch Queen on PS5. People can hear me in game chat but I can't hear a thing. Lots of people have the same issue. Still no acknowledgement.

In game chat don't work with my rig 150 dollar headphones but works with my Bluetooth galaxy buds

Same thing on this end. Haven’t figured out a way to resolve it either.

I struggle on Xbox too. Game chat is finicky and only works when it wants to. Restarting the game should help, or even resetting your console. Sometimes game chat doesn’t work entirely when I join a fire team without an invite. Good luck out there guardian. That’s all I can offer
