The jumping content between encounters in a lot of dungeons and raids just feels like tedious filler and it is really killing any motivation to go through them again. Just to be clear, it's not because I suck at jumping. I used to when I first started but I'm pretty good now and rarely die when going through them. It's just really tedious.

At least we can mantel (when it works) now
-
Platforming sections did bring us one of the most beautiful parts of destiny, the spacewalk in deep stone ngl
-
It was funner in whisper and zero hour mission
-
I really enjoyed the platforming in the outbreak & whisper exotic quests.
-
1 OdpowiedźI suck at jumping and the platforming sections put me off doing so much.
-
Jumping in Mario is fun. Not so much in destiny.
-
Platforming is cheap 90’s bs. Needs to die off entirely.
-
Agreed. It's crappy, boring filler.
-
I hate the platforming, its just such a waste of time
-
1 OdpowiedźYEP I hear you. Can't stand platforming. Boring and pointless. I guess simple things amuse simple minds... LMFAO
-
Yep, boring and tedious.
-
C’mon Jim , just bend yer knees😂
-
I would just like a way to practice the jumping and scooter racing parts. I suck at both and can't necessarily solo my way to those sections. I don't do the "hard" stuff because i don't want to slow down the rest. Drop me in and let me gain confidence on my own time. I don't even care if it doesn't count towards any progress or drop gear.

Only so many play possibilities with a game like this.
-
I just wish the respawn timer outside of encounters was 3-5 seconds.
-
Yes it’s is filler. Yes the leviathan is supposed to be huge, and we have to traverse it. Yes there are ways to get through those sections quicker.
-
Totally Agree. It’s just your basic old boring filler content dumped into every “new” mission to extend gameplay. Yawn.

6 OdpowiedziI like it, I was the only one on my fireteam that made it across the ships in kings fall on my first run.

Like others have said, the verticality of D2 is one of the things that sets it apart from other FPS games. It's actually one of the last great parts of the game.

16 OdpowiedziDon't play it if you don't like it 👍

It's nice to have a break between encounters, and flying is a fun way to do it. I like the platforming.
-
I could take it or leave it. They are interesting the first time through, but then pretty mindless thereafter.
-
I like them. It's the best thing beside the gunplay to me.
-
They're one of the biggest things that differentiate Destiny from other games. They're not super difficult, but not mindlessly easy. I can space out and talk with my fireteammates pretty seamlessly in any dungeon or raid.
