Don’t bother. The pvp in this game is a joke But if you really want to know, the way to get better is to lose all your morals and be the biggest, cheesiest piece of -blam!- you can be

Play a real pvp game

Just try a few weapons see what makes you think “hey I like this one” and main it…… learn it’s strengths and weakness and try and find a weapon that pairs well with your main weapons weakness, besides that im unsure this could help abit or not im not a god XD. Maps, beware of sniper lanes, oh and definitely keep an eye on your surroundings nearly everytime for me i forget my map awareness and im thinking I’m walking back but instead I’m walking into a wall. (Before anyone says take my own advise…. I’m on spectrum the time it takes for you to get good it takes me 2x or 3x longer and even then stuff hits the fan and I panic and I’m back at square 1 thinking if anything I try doesn’t work after a while what’s the point in me practicing XD) and yes this last part is abit sarcastic so ignore it.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Ängry: 7/5/2022 11:24:57 AMPlay a bunch. Having map and general battle knowledge is half the fight. Soon you will anticipate enemy movement, distance and countermeasures. Going with the meta is easy for the start. When you feel more confident you can try out of the box stuff and generally stuff you wanna try out (you can do that right away ofc) Most importantly though, have fun Note: looking at your stats you are actually quite good. Kudos

Pick a favorite exotic that isn't meta and stay with it no matter what and get really good with it.

Learn from mistakes, analyse what you did wrong if you died

1 OdpowiedźIf you are playing solo, never expect a blueberry to have your back. Let them push first, then go for the clean up.

2 OdpowiedziYeah, don't play it lol.

The most important thing when it comes to pvp is positioning. Learning and knowing where enemies spawn means you can position yourself to have the geographical advantage before the fights have even taken place. Depending on the game mode and the flow of the match you'll need to access and move locations multiple times to keep the metaphorical high ground. Everything else comes second and comes with experience but it's always best to have the fundamentals down before doing anything so you don't pick up bad habits.

The amount of comments that are basically saying “know when to run away” on this thread is sad 😂 stand and fight you cowards, you’ll never get better by f@cking running away all the time 🤦♂️

3 OdpowiedziMy biggest tip is to know when to disengage. There’s nothing wrong with backing up, taking a second, and re-engaging from a different angle.
-
Eyes on radar when peeking to have a gun fight peek in gaps like you're slicing a pizza that way your engagements are ones more often than not.

The only way to win is not to play. WANT…TO…PLAY…A…GAME?
-
Learn where head level is…. Use a controller and a sniper…. Play around cover ….

Genuine tips for anyone (you can stop reading whenever, it doesn’t bother me at all!) Audio: listen for jumps especially if you don’t see someone, they likely are waiting for you around some solid object. Footstep are super important, especially for things like shoulder charges (they are much louder) and can be recognized early enough to see them coming. Supers have many audio cues, you can hear the difference between 3 and 6 shot golden gun even if 6 shot is fired slower to imitate 3 shots. Knowing how many attacks a super can do before you can have a safer engagement is huge. Also you won’t be seeing supers in the kill feed all the time, recognize the sounds of super activations Visually: speaking of supers, pull out your ghost. It displays all supers in the game with highlighted supers that are charged and a special animation with a moving white square around active supers. Before using your own you should approach the other team with knowledge of what enemy supers could be used against yours and play around it. Other tips: Recognize the strength of the enemy team, often if you manage to kill a top player of the other team, that is your chance to create a stronghold and have a greater control over the map, pinning a team towards their spawns. Most top players are rogue-like and act usually on their own to push the areas with the most enemies, make a foothold and flip the coin in their team’s favor. You don’t need to be this player, know what your team is good at and what they need to have an edge as the match goes on. If you make someone weak, do not engage further if they are on a side of the map their team controls. This is a quality “bait” waiting to happen. Likewise if you score a kill and are low on health without a kill/damage perk to aid you… run. You are public enemy #1 and you scored a kill already, get some backup. If you are confident in pushing another player, all the power to you. I’d love to write a longer novel about survivability, movement, and game knowledge, but I’d rather get asked questions like “how to improve [blah]”. Should I strafe? I keep dying by fusions. The radar seems useless, I don’t understand it all the time. I’m not a guru but I know a lot of secrets that have kept me alive a TON

Don’t be alone Don’t rush in first Be aware of your surroundings And don’t just strictly play the meta, there are so many weapons that are good to use in PvP
Topic body
Know what fights you’re going to lose and back off. Especially true when someone is baiting you.
