Solar 3.0 forgot these exotic weapons
It is a tragedy that Polaris Lance and Two-tailed Fox (as well as burning cells) are stuck with the generic burn effect. These weapons need to be changed to use scorch instead. It would also be fantastic if Polaris’ catalyst was changed to give incandescent instead of dragonfly, but I understand if dragonfly is kept since it fits the weapon’s identity of precision. It is just sad to see that these two were left in the dust with solar 3.0.

It sucks that Bungie left out so many Exotics for Solar 3.0

14 Odpowiedzi2 tails is in a odd place since it deals void and solar. For its catalyst I wouldn't mind incandescent for the solar and the void rocket applies weaken.

1 OdpowiedźI wouldn't have a problem with them updated/changing them to synergize better with Solar 3.0-- if Scorch could actually kill people in PvP. It would be a welcome change for PvE, though. As it stands, I'd prefer the 'generic burn' to atleast stay on the explosive round for Polaris, as it at the very least can burn someone to a death if their health is low enough. Scorch is purposely programmed to cap out at 1 HP in PvP, no matter how high the stack is. I wouldn't mind if they replaced Polaris' Catalyst with Incandescent instead of Dragonfly, since we can't put Dragonfly Spec on the gun anyways, but kept the 'generic burn' on the Perfect Fifth perk.

Do not overlook that they also broke the burn step needed to complete the catalyst for Polaris Lance when they introduced Solar 3.0.

Ya, but I'm not surprised. Lots of Void exotics got no upgrade to damage or abilities with Void 3.0, until AFTER it was done (i.e. Leviathen Breath). I'm sure they will add solar damage like scorch to a couple of weapons after the season closes. They really need to start working on Arc Exotic weapons now.

8 OdpowiedziI personally love 2 tailed fox, would be really cool if they did a catalyst where the solar rocket causes a huge ignition and the void rocket did either a lorentz style implosion/explosion or chain reaction/volatile
