Season of Player's Choice?
How about having Season of Player's Choice?
Where we could:
Use the weapons we choose, instead of the ones Bungie dictates.
Equip a special weapon, instead of double primaries.
Equip actual glove mods, instead of champion mods.
Kinda like a customer appreciation season.
"This season, play your way!"
(I can't remember the last time I used a shotgun, fusion, or sniper outside of patrol, can you?)

Thats like every other season for me. You dont need champion mods. It makes them easier.

6 OdpowiedziI really hope Bungie will eventually rework the Anti-Champions System. This combined with Match Game is the main reason I've stopped playing contents such as GM Nightfalls or others at the highest difficulties.

Lol who tf is forcing you to run double primary? I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve used double primary in the last 2 years.

4 OdpowiedziI still don't understand the "we're forced to double primary" thing like, even if you're laboring under the delusion that you have to have two champion stuns, which isn't true, there are still special weapons for each champion type. But even ignoring that, only one person actually needs to be able to stun each champion type for it to be fine, and most of the time all 3 aren't present, only around two usually. So even if you're not in a premade team, it's, most of the time, a safe bet that somebody has whichever champion stun you aren't covering, leaving you free to use that other slot for whatever you want.

7 OdpowiedziUhh....yesterday? Doing Vow of the Disciple? Used an Energy Shotgun the whole time. Double Primaries is a lack of imagination I think, or you just not being uncomfortable using other weapons because it's pretty possible to have a Kinetic + Energy + Heavy weapon that busts both Champions and can do DPS too. Having to adapt and change your gear to fit what is going on in the content is kind of a hallmark of these kinds of games.

Attach them to the weapons I'll gladly give up minor major or boss spec to equip a champ mod on my weapon. At the very least make that an option because most exotics don't have intrinsic champion perks. Maybe give barrier overload & unstoppable to two weapon types each. I would really love to use anti barrier sniper again or overload bow ab scout is nice too. I prefer unstoppable pulse or handcannon. Some narrative options would be nice even if it's just dialogue but.. idk how much it costs to get these voice actors to record some dialogue.

What about some narrative choice as well? All this talk about light and dark, but we as a players have -blam!- all to say.

It's why I enjoyed playing D1 more so than D2. The artifact is the problem in D2 so it would be nice to have a season or 2 to use what I want to.

Yeah it is very annoying that champ mods result in you being stuck with double primaries. Cause in a Lost Sector I am not gonna use a sidearm of all things so I am really stuck using a Pulse and a Scout which sucks. There needs to be mods for Fusion Rifles, Shotguns and Snipers. I should be allowed to run that pulse with a shotty. Hopefully Unstoppable Fusion Rifles makes a return.

2 OdpowiedziTo be fair, glaives are an option this season but glaives also suck *shrug* Yeah I know they have uses but the projectile damage sucks and most perks don't affect the melee. I'm not a fan of them in endgame content.

Honestly I don’t even care about all the mods and stuff. Since I don’t really have a group of dudes to play with I usually just use whatever I feel like regardless

I use a sniper all the time for yellow/orange bars. Saves heavy when Im using something like Gjallorhorn
