Sniper flinch really should be properly addressed
Playing against and with snipers simply isn't fun due to how often flinch just doesn't work- or worse, works in favor of the sniper.
[spoiler]Before a swarm of "get better" comments, keep in mind that I said with. It's not satisfying to know I'm getting kills due to a blatantly broken mechanic. I've got plenty of clips of just sniping people through heavy flinch.[/spoiler]

Snipes shouldn't have the same flinch pattern of other weapons. They should flinch away from the target when shot, and probably should have their flinch resist scalar looked at again

You should be able to build into flinch resistance to a degree, but snipers should have less max flinch resistance available, and flinch should make your reticule jump in a random direction, not just up.

Sounds like a bunch of sniper main zen using trial tryhards below. If you’re the 2 out of the 6 people not using the sniper then you are the only ones who’s opinion count. Everyone else below probably were shatterdiving hunters who always exploit what’s broke and cry’s when it’s justly nerfed. You can’t tell me in last seasons twibs that you didn’t see snipers being strong this season so you went into rumble or 6stacked control to practice sniping. Snipers usage went up at the end of last season because you all saw it. Camping in trials waiting on the zone has gone up a ton this season because everyone is trying to peek. Why? Because everyone knows snipers are the strongest now because of the special ammo economy, flinch and airborne changes. Why must everyone argue a valid point? Just because people play this way or that way doesn’t mean snipers don’t have a strength right now.

I could see a change possibly for MnK maybe, but definitely not on controller. Flinch is definitely working as intended when I try sniping now, compared to before the changes to flinch.

I pumped half a clip into a guy with beloved and he just changers to sniper and head shots me, just before he’s about to die. Then he goes back to full health before my ghost appears..

I played a dude that was like 588 kills in trials this season with 94% accuracy with beloved. I would say change your approach on sniping maybe.

I flinch sniper like crazy the problem lies in something you’re doing wrong.

I get flinched out of snipers shots all the time , scout rifles and pulse rifles genuinely punish snipers .
