Anyone else is cursed by the RNG god in Duality?
Heyo!
Its about the Heart Shadow rng drop. Since no one i asked needed that many attempts to get it (contains with and without triumph bonus) i just write here to ask if im the only one who didnt got the sword after 51 finshes (until now). the most finishes another one told me was 25 but most were with 2-4 finishes.
Ive done 2/3 triumphes for increase the drop rate and that was 48 finishes ago ;D
Im not so hot on that weapon but common 51 tries is for sure not what you thought of either or?
If many response here that have an equal amound of completions without getting it im suprised and relived but tbh i dont think so :P

That's how it feels for me to play this game lately. I hate it because I LOVE it. But if we keep doing this to ourselves, we're to blame. Not them. We gotta hop off this hamster wheel!

2 Odpowiedzi3 runs per week, so 18 up to now with 4/5 triumphs: nothing.... it is rediculous... that is how Bungie keeps people playing at least Tuesdays, although there is no content....

Got Heart Shadow but can’t get a Lingering Dread. Only thing that hasn’t dropped.

3 OdpowiedziI saw its perks and thought, who cares? Its a gimmick sword just like the Vow exotic is a gimmick gun. There are plenty of other better options for running exotics, especially swords.

3 triumphs done and i think me and my fireteam has about 30ish clears, none of us has it

We didn't do it 51 times but probably around 18 to 20 and one teammate is still waiting for Heartshadow. One guy got it on his second and I got mine on the third run.

Was lucky enough to get it first try, and catalyst on second run. I hate raids and dungeons so I'm very happy that I don't have to run it again.

18 attempts, still nothing. Last 4 attempts with 3 drop chance enhancements (which probably increases the drop chance from 0.001% to 0.0015% or so. Absolutely annoying! After 46 attempts for getting the crappy exo pulse from VotD, now the same garbage for the sword apparently - with the difference that you need it for the seal this time. Bungie should either add bad luck protection if they make it part of the seal or not make it a requirement for the seal at all. On a side note: It seems it's always the same people that have better RNG and the same people with crappy RNG! Example? Friend gets catalyst for Arbalest after 5 strikes - I have to run 56! Same friend gets Collective Obligation on the 2nd run - I have to run 46! Same friend gets the sword after 5 attempts - I'm on attempt 18 right now... Absolutely disgusted by the junk Bungie RNG! Either make it actual RNG or get rid of it entirely!

If you do all the drop chance increases you can get it pretty easily. After doing all of them got it to drop first time

So for starters it’s only 3 per week on each character to get it and I had 4/5 triumphs since the first week with increases and I didn’t get it til last Wednesday on my third character.

2 Odpowiedzi51 attempts is 17 weeks worth of looted runs, and it definitely hasn't been 17 weeks yet. It's only 3 attempts per week like other end-game raid drops.

2 OdpowiedziIt’s how rng works. Some people get it the first time, some might have to run 100. It’s a very small percentage, so it sucks to be one. My advice is to take a break for a week, game has a boost to exotic drops when you take a break. Come back and go straight to that activity and try it.

I did 3 runs last week with the same 2 players I always do it with, one other player and myself both have 2 triumphs done that give a better drop chance for the exotic the other player doesn't have any. The exotic sword dropped twice for the same player, the player without any of the exotic triumph drop chance. Go figure, rng is rng..

Nope. Got "lucky" and it dropped on both my first and third encounter. The only other member of my clan still playing got it on his 7th run.

You cant even have 51 finishes. Its limited to 3 per week since it released.

The max attempts anyone could be at right now is 15. If the sword is the only thing you care about, you only need to do it once per character each week.
