Why should there be a helpline? 1. Bungie has one office so for most players it would be a long distance phone call. 2. Players with problems would not get seen to with a phone helpline and email site blocked by people who don't have problems but have "Bungie you have got to listen to me" posts. Most of those complaining or have magical fixes or requests on the #Destiny2 forum page would flood it not just those who need help 3. Language.. as I said Bungie has one office so while the first phone call or email of the day could be English the next could be Spanish, German, Japanese, French or one of a dozen other languages. 4. If you did get help guess what 95% of the time it would be just a standard reply with a link to a help guide or information source. So look at the forums with Ninjas, mentors, helpful community members and if need be a Bungie member of staff.... 1. Who better than those who have had issues to help others. 2. Why not use the search function and anyone can provide a link to Bungie's help guides and information they put out. 3. The community is there 24/7 with no office hours and as they are worldwide there is always someone who can understand that Language available. 4. People who need help have their own page with anyone who tries to use it otherwise told to move their post, ignored or the mentors move it out of the way. So which is better... I have used Bungie.net and the "helplines" other studios use and get faster results here.
