Cross Save Issues
I enabled cross save a while ago, but I think I may have used the wrong Steam account. I primarily play on Xbox but wanted to join a group of friends on PC. I never use Steam and couldn't log into my old account when I got a new PC, so I created a new one and I think that's the one that's linked to this Xbox profile. However the username is correct so I'm not sure if there's a cross save issue or a Steam account issue, but when I boot up the game it doesn't have any of my characters and makes me create a new one. I don't see a way to unlink my Steam account and try again, I did try to deactivate cross save but it didn't go through for some reason because when I pulled up the cross save page again everything was still enabled and linked. Is there a way to fix this, or should I try to deactivate cross save again and just wait the 90 days?

Bungie cannot forcibly delink them for you. A Steam search shows that there are 2 profiles with your Steam username so you will need to work with their support to recover the missing information. https://steamcommunity.com/search/users/#text=Jedi%20JTB92 That said, it is worth noting a couple items. First, you do not need to login to Steam to play with your friends that are on Steam. Destiny 2 is cross play so consoles can join pc players and vice versa. Second, is that once you deactivate cross save, there is a mandatory 90 day cooldown that is started before you can reactivate cross save.
