Clan leader was banned, who takes over leadership?
Our clan leader was banned for reasons unknown; while we have our theories on why, we also have to now pivot towards what would happen if they don't get unbanned and them being inevitably kicked for inactivity from the clan after a while. Who takes over leadership and is it possible to change leaders? There are a few admins we have who would make terrible leaders and we dont want that to happen.

Bungie does not get involved with clans in this manner. As long as the clan is not breaking code of conduct, they do not interfere. This means that only a founder can pass the ownership of the clan to another player.

5 OdpowiedziHi CjCondor, By default ownership shifts to whoever spent the longest time in the clan, so in the case the second player that joined the clan would be now the leader. Thanks, Jaredd

can the founder not promote another admin to founder? i do believe a game ban still allows for this, although i could be wrong. bungie does not get involved in clans for any reason other than conduct violations.

The clan leader will remain the clan leader…unless he logs into his account on Bungie.net & promotes an admin to replace him as the founder.

Clan leader doesn’t seem to care about his ban if he hasn’t inquired about it. Like he knows why he was banned…
