I already posted my thoughts about this quest, and was surprised by the volume of replies. Thank you to everyone who commented. I should add, thanks to a kindly player from the community who helped me through it, I finally completed the Harbinger" quest. Even with one other player (who was admittedly very good!), it was still difficult. For all those solo gamers who've stuck with Destiny over the years, surely it's only fair that matchmaking should be an option for those really difficult quests. What do you think? Thanks.
