Chromatic Fire with Stasis?
Whenever I play with my warlock, I'm quite fond of using Chromatic Fire paired with a hand cannon. In the days leading up to the release of Beyond Light I was hoping that it would be able to work with Stasis, but it seems that wasn't the case.
I was wondering if Bungie had any plans to make Chromatic Fire work with Stasis sometime in the future?
(Note: I don't expect the explosion from Chromatic Fire to freeze or slow anything, but just a simple blue explosion with a stasis damage type would be appreciated)

Back when I was earning Komodo(sunset next season): I used that and Arbalast. Which every time I got a headshot on an enemy who was near his allies the explosion kept giving me tripple downs. Lmao

The team told me a few minutes ago that Taniks has no House. He kneels before no banner, owes allegiance to no Kell. He is a murderer, and very good at what he does. I have been tracking him since Wolves broke their chains, yes? Now Taniks works for Wolf Pack, but not for long.

i wouldnt mind it if it just copied your last light subclass equipped at the very least or copied the element of the masterwork.

5 OdpowiedziIMHO Chromatic Fire needs an update. The explosions are neat and all but they should have an effect that corresponds to each element AND Stasis. Void should disorient, Arc should chain damage, Solar should burn and Stasis would slow.

6 OdpowiedziYou all seem to forget that the vanguard doesn't want us using Stasis. You probably won't see any light based perks work with stasis.

6 OdpowiedziThey changed the description to say only “light” subclasses, which tells me their dev team was too incompetent or lazy to figure out how to add stasis to it.

Same thing with the elemental capacitor perk. Stasis does nothing for it whatsoever.

I doubt it's happening any time soon. Shadebinder already make a lot of explosions via freezes and shatters, so Chromatic Fire would be a bit of a waste IMO.
