Steam not recognising Destiny 2
Hello,
About a week ago, Destiny 2 was working fine. In fact it had been working fine for a while until recently. Today, I logged on and saw that my Destiny 2 was apparently not installed, and that it required me to download 80gb to play it. I know I've got it installed, under my D: drive. I've tried restarting both Steam and my computer multiple times, I've attempted to start a download so it looks for preexisting files, I've tried contacting Steam Support who told me to go ask Bungie (very helpful, Steam). I haven't really changed anything regarding D2 or Steam lately, so this new dilemma is confusing. I would honestly appreciate it so much if anyone could try to help, as I want to be able to get back into Destiny 2 without downloading 80gb (slow internet, takes me 2 and a half days).

2 OdpowiedziThis happens when Steam doesn't shut down properly. All you can do is run the re-install. The game files are still there and it will first see if there is no issue with them. If you're lucky it won't find and issue and won't re-download the files and will just re-install using what is already on your computer. Otherwise, yes, you will be stuck with re-downloading the game.
