Unable to view The Taken King prelude cinematic despite pre-order #help
Hi,
Just wondering if bungie can help on this; do i need to be concerned?
I had pre-ordered the taken king back in June via the xbox store. The shader and emblem have been delivered to my postmaster so all is good from that point of view.
However, when i go to the director and click the Taken King prelude cinematic i cannot view it. The director prompts me with three options - one is to enter a code and the other two are purchase options. This leads me to believe the game doesn't think i have pre-ordered TTK.
Do i need to be worried about this?

5 OdpowiedziI have this same issue on PS4 despite preordering months ago. Kinda hoping it's just a weird gate for the cinematic I've already seen online Is there a way to confirm that I will have The Taken King content on release?

You are right. It doesn't access The Taken King cinematic at all, only gives a pop-up notice that The Taken King will be available soon. On PS you can go into a screen where you can buy the various versions of the game and then view the trailer. Sorry for answering without having my facts straight.
