Given a "code"
Somebody on the forums gave me a red bull code...I put it in and it worked...then they later told me that the never bought a can, that they just figured out how to guess codes...what does this mean for me? I don't want to be stealing or anything...can the item just be taken away from me?

My guess is they are lying just to troll you are seem smart but if they did find out a way to get codes it isnt your fault since you could not have known :)

1 OdpowiedźThe guy means he figured out the algorithm used by red bull to make the codes and he is essentially printing his own codes supposedly, how ever that also means any codes he manufactures could end up on a can an when the drinker goes to enter that code it will say code already used

I don't think they can actually track down where you got the code from. They shouldn't have made the codes easy to guess in the first place.

1 OdpowiedźIf you can then you should go out and buy a can and give someone else the code that needs it (: If you're unable to do so then at least you're apologetic even though you didn't know that you were taking a person's code in the first place. Plus if the person calls red bull and gives them proof of purchase then they'll likely give him a working code.
