Ok its not really that hard to do and it sucks that you had issues with a single player but backing out of a lobby because some1 says do the cheese just paints you as the problem. Its a new strategy that takes the community time to get used to it. If you bitch and moan then please stay of lfg so i never have to play with you

The totems cheese is unlike the atheon or Templar or even bridge cheese. It is literally more difficult to do the totems cheese than the normal method.

Theres nothing to it. All the totem people have to worry about is killing boomer knights every 30 seconds and the handful of acolytes that onpy really care about hiding. 4 people in the center taking care of adds is way easier then 2. The only hard thing is keeping your ammo stocked which if you've played any taken king you know it is practically a mechanic now to be constantly short ammo

I guess I'm more confused as to why one would cheese the totems?

If done correctly it is quicker and easier to cheese. The totem mechanics like some people already said are "indicators of bad team players" a solid team can easily do either strat but if i want a quick run id rather do it faster and get the bosses. Up to the worpriest there is no reason to even play the rewards are crap. I want to hit the warpriest in as little time as possible to get my rewards that are possibly worth it

Fair point but as you said it is an indicator. If I'm with a pick up group that cannot do the totems in 0-5 wipes. I leave because there's no way we're going to be able to do the bosses together.
