Hi Heath
A XB1 CPU runs at approx 12mbps
A PS4 CPU runs at approx 14mbps
A intel i7 runs at approx. 26mpbs
A garden variety i7 struggles to handle lots of players, bots and on screen action in FPS at 60FPS 720p - rubber banding, screen tearing, input latency etc.
XB1 or PS4 at 1080p and 60fps..........Weeell

do you really think destiny challenges the PS4 hardware at 1080/30? laughable, unlocked it would probably run like Infamous, between 50 and 30 fps, with optimization and new tools Destiny 2 could run 60fps for 90% of the time. I wouldn't mind some framedrops when alot is going on screen.

I7 doesn't really do anything that an i5 can't besides an increase in just a few fps. You get an i7 for media, not gaming.
