It's only a money racket if you let it.
I don't buy silver, I still have 300 left from when they gave it to us during forsaken.
I buy stuff with bright dust, if it's something I like, don't need to own every ghost, ship and sparrow.
By the way as you get older you will realize most stuff is a money racket. If your older and don't understand that , then that's on you.
It's called a business.
All that being said, I do find the transmog pretty slimy.
I won't spend any silver and transmog as I go along.

They repaint and slightly remodel the same enemies, and send you to do the same missions with a new price tag every time. Raids? Ball mechanics Enemies? Retextured, and slightly remodeled if you're lucky. The "expansions" become redundant after a couple months yet they charge the price of a full game for it. There's paid battle passes, microtransactions, hundred plus dollar pre-order editions. Even if you do not partake in microtransactions like the majority of other players you are still being robbed blind.

There is a philosophy of ethical business practices and unethical business practices. As you get older you realize this is why the Better Business Bureau exists. OP is explaining why Bungie's business practices are unethical. As you get older you understand this.

You don’t have to buy the transmog materials with the silver it’s just an option which is perfectly fine. You can easily just not buy them and grind for them which is also perfectly fine. I don’t understand the reason why people get so butthurt allowing people to buy it with silver.

Yes he’s a random person just because he’s known to you doesn’t mean he’s known to me or someone else. I never heard of the dude until now so yeah he’s a random person. Just because he has 1 million subs doesn’t make him a known person. He will always be a random person to someone since not everyone knows him. Also it’s a video of a random person on the internet that is expressing his opinion. Do you think because he’s a YouTuber and has 1 million subs means he’s right in every way? So does his opinion matter more than mine or someone else’s? To me it sounds like you’re indicating that this dude is 100% right and he’s never wrong.
