These low IQ salty pricks don't think about that. In fact their limited brain capacity doesn't allow them to think of anyone but themselves.
And this entire thread is a prime example. Because instead of moving on to the next game, they chose to come here and demand even harsher punishments for "leaving" a match than what already exists. And instead of asking for a "net-zero" loss of their Glory points if they happen to be on the team that has a "leaver" so THEY don't get punished for a potential loss they couldn't prevent... they want Bungie to send in the KGB to the guy's home to throw them in a gulag to never be heard from again.
That's for Bungie to take action on. If they are going to use a system like this then they have to make sure its neither possible to do it or if it happens permanent bans are in place
Its interesting you bring that up, because there are some serious problems with the way their network is setup regarding the public display of network addresses and (not intentionally) facilitating attacks like this on a regular basis that makes me wonder if they could if ever be liable.
This also interests me more because people are always quick to say "You accepted the eula". Turns out. My state (and alot of others) does not honor/accept/limit online Eula agreements and they get thrown out in court.
I always wondered if a player out there would pull a Minecraft style lawsuit over this on Destiny or another game.
