And you clearly can't stand getting your ass kicked.

Edited by Dubufu: 12/15/2018 6:16:40 PMSays the guy who stopped playing back in February lmao, no opinion for you
-
Piss off. I stopped playing because people like you turned the game into a cesspool. Now with the update, I want to come back and play. By January my PC will be built, and I do NOT want to come back to the dumpster fire I left. I suggest that if you cannot stand the game that the majority wanted to come back and play, that you leave and go play something else.

Edited by Dubufu: 12/15/2018 7:31:38 PMLmao shut up You have not even experienced forsaken or the post black armory update with the new sandbox changes. You cannot critique something you yourself know nothing about, fairly simple concept. I could give many reasons as to why Blade barrage should be nerfed but you would have no idea what i'd be talking about. Me not liking one aspect of the game isn't me saying " I can't stand this game" you idiot. Have some common sense before you speak
-
No. I won't. I see a game that I want to come back to. A game reminiscent of D1's glory days, when players could actually feel powerful. I have seen what you and the other whiners in this forum do to Destiny. It was evident all through D1, and evident in D2's launch. Fixing glitches, bugs, etc. is one thing, but wanting to nerf, and render worthless every single thing you lose out to in PvP, that's not a problem with the game. Destiny is not Call of Duty, or Halo, or Battlefield. You are playing a shooter, that has RNG elements in its loot pool, and weapons that are rare, and need a reason to be sought after other than collectible purpose. Where players have crazy powers and abilities that can be unpredictable. We tried the formula of watering down weapons, where everyone had the same guns drop over and over. It resulted in the player base TANKING, because the grind that made Destiny what it is, was no longer there. "You don't have an opinion" Wrong. I have FACTS that you cannot stand, experience that makes you mad. Destiny is DISTINCTLY different than any shooter we've ever had, and you're looking through rose-tinted glasses trying to impose your radical ideal of a "perfect game" onto Destiny.
-
Edited by Dubufu: 12/15/2018 7:57:36 PMSorry, that's not how games work, especially in a game with a competitive scene. The game needs nerfs whether you like it or not. Hell, the devs currentlu are taking a look at nova warp because of how unreasonably overpowered it is. Not everything can be so easily discounted because of some pissbaby who hasn't played the game since February.
I have FACTS you cannot stand, and experience that makes you mad
You actually dont have facts because you have not played forsaken, where the game was redically changed to the point where the past sandbox itteration is completely irrelevant, therefor, you have liter no idea what you are talking about and you are not qualified to disregard someone's nerfs, as you have not experienced it in the slightest Nice try Also, you saying you have "Experience" with only 50 matches of crucible played, is downright a joke lmao Try again, but don't embarrass yourself this time
-
I've been playing games since Halo 3. I played Halo, COD, Destiny... Destiny is fundamentally different from all other shooters, because you have to work extremely hard to possibly get weapons that someone else has. Destiny is not going to ever be truly competitive, because to do so means taking away the essence of what Destiny is at its core: A loot-based shooting game, with a tacked-on PvP feature. I played all through Destiny 1. When they nerfed SUROS and Vex, I saw it a mile away: I knew that weapons were going to go through cycles. Blanket nerfs, and that the same people were going to keep whining, no matter what actually got modified. It doesn't matter what Bungie nerfs, because you're so selfish and self-absorbed, that you're going to complain anyway. The players that actually mattered, are the ones that left the game en masse after The Dawning and Curse of Osiris. That isn't a game problem, it's a player problem.

Edited by Dubufu: 12/15/2018 8:09:49 PMI said not to embarrass yourself this time. Vex mythoclast needed that nerf. The fact that you somehow defended that, shows how little you know about balancing in video games. Also, it's competitive wether you like it or not. They have introduced 3 competitive game modes and pinnacle weapon rewards just for it. Again, since you have no idea what you are talking about, since you have not played the game past forsaken Then everyone, including me, can disregard your post Unless you can provide me with a valid counter for Blade barrage like I've asked for before :)

https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/179137342?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=0 Disregard THAT. Not everything is perfectly countered in Destiny. If that is what you want, then go play Overwatch and let the rest of enjoy the game.

Edited by Dubufu: 12/15/2018 8:21:01 PMI actually can. It's a post made 3 years by a guy who has not played the new sandbox updates. Nice try lmao Also, everything has a form of counterplay, whether it be weapon based or skill based. Like how scout users are weak to rushers, or how shotguns beat smgs at the same range, or even how Luna's howl is weak to ranged weapons and flinch Blade barrage has no counterplay unlike any other super
-
Same concept. You're crying nerf to justify losing, and people are sick of it. I've counted at least 18-20 different pieces of gear, that have been complained about, some even before Forsaken launched. I can list every single one, AND find multiple posts about them. When Nova Warp gets nerfed, it'll be nerfed into the dirt. When the next Super takes its place, you'll be right back in here crying. It's an endless cycle that went through all of Destiny 1. It's pointless, and only serves to make the game worse. Now, if people had any kind of common sense they'd be looking at the underpinnings of PvP's mechanics. For example: Ammo. They've done a lot to fix that between D1 and D2 in accordance with D2's changes. Special ammo isn't overly abundant as to make Specials dominant, the way they were in D1. What about Super energy? Why does it charge passively instead of rewarding players with energy for kills/obj completion, and taking energy away when they die in combat? Nerfing absolutely everything, just because people can't stand it on the pretext of "I died to it" doesn't make the game any better. Nerfing ARs at the start of D1 only made the game worse, because Bungie took away what was fundamentally the most basic weapon in any shooter, that is most likely to bring in new players. That weapon was replaced by the overcompensated Hand Cannon, and immediately people were whining all over again.

Edited by Dubufu: 12/15/2018 8:36:36 PMDisregarding, again...more nonsense that is irrelevant to me or blade barrage
-
Then you are a lost cause. Go play CoD, or Halo, and stop bitching about Destiny, because changing anything to please you and the other nerf herders, is totally in vain.
-
You haven't played since February? That's like casting your vote for high school class president, but you're in 8th grade.
-
Just zip your lip. I stopped playing because of jack wagons like you. You don't like the game? THEN LEAVE. Quit trying to have the game constantly changed to placate your incompetence therein.
-
Edited by Dubufu: 12/15/2018 8:39:45 PMWell, have fun knowing your words are irrelevant until you actually play the new sandbox and don't give up on crucible after only 50 matches Also, nerfs are already in session. They nerfed linear fusions in gambit (thank -blam!-) and nova warp is next
