Alright, all jokes aside, it's the same god.
Same stories, just different rules.
Each religion does something for god in a different way.
Jewish people follow strict rules, and pretty much try to live as if its the 14th century.
Christians kill people (not all of them obviously), follow strict rules, and have a clear definition if heaven and hell
Muslims kill people (not all of them obviously), follow strict rules, and try to be at peace with the world. (Not trying to make Islam sound nice it's just a core part of the religion)
The Abrahamic religions are just three parallel paths going in the sane directions.

Do you believe in this God?
-
No Not an atheist but I don't believe in any of the Abrahamic religions. To me, they seem like fairy tales. And I grew up in a Christian/Muslim family in a Jewish town. I have a lot of experience with these religions.
-
Okay. Fair enough. What I'm trying to say is: Islam believes they are the same. Christians believe they share the Jewish God and that Muhammad was a false prophet. Jews believe they are the only one worshipping God, and Jesus and Muhammad were both false prophets. I at best can say I believe Christianity shares the Jewish God. But, like I said, Jews would disagree and say it's a perversion. No one can claim objectively that they are the same God just as much as no can objectively claim that God exists.

A rabbi has told me that the Abrahamic religions all worship the same god. Don't know what you're going on about.
-
And that would be the rabbi's opinion. If we cannot prove that God exists we certainly can't say which religions follow which Gods. We can have beliefs.

Edited by Ockey Chit: 2/14/2016 6:02:26 AMYou can definitely say that three religions follow the same God.
-
Not objectively. You can't hold facts about the nature of God. I don't know how you're not getting this.
-
I don't know how you're not getting what I'm and everyone else here is saying! All three if the Abrahamic religions worship the same God. That's indisputable fact! You can't use the opinion card on proven fact.

HOW CAN A FACT ABOUT A BEING THAT CAN'T BE FACTUALLY PROVEN TO EXIST, EXIST?
