Well one tells you to be relatively peaceful and possibly sent his son to die, while the other tells you to kill anybody who disagrees with you and that you get a bunch of virgins if you blow yourself up. So Imma either say no or that God is super bipolar. And while I never took 6th Grade World Culture, I have taken college level Theology and Philosophy classes.
Best way to explain it would be like this Christians: We worship the same God as the Jews. Also, -blam!- the Muslims. Jews: Christians are stupid and worship some blaspheming carpenter. But, they make good points sometimes (see Completed Jews). Also, SUPER -blam!- the Muslims. Muslims: -blam!- everybody else, they're stupid and need to convert. Also, -blam!- the Muslims.
• Sort of. And any way what a shit post. And anyway Allah and God are essentially the same thing but there are very different beliefs surrounding the two.

        • Same God, but in different ways. If you ask a Christian if he worships the same God, the will probably say that I just said
hint: I am a Christian ;)
Maybe if he has a serious case of multiple personality disorder that changes every few hundred years. Muslims would answer yes. Christians would say they worship the same God as the Jews, and the Jews would likely disagree. The characteristics of the God of each religion is pretty largely different even if they all are monotheistic abrahamics.

        • In origin, yes. It's branched off into different versions though. We try to control everything. Even the things we can't understand or explain.

Christians believe in God the father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (the Trinity); and Christians believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven. Jews believe that God the Son (Jesus) hasn't been born yet and that Jesus was just a really good person and prophet. Muslims believe that Allah (the Sun God) is the only true God. Christians and Jews worship the same God but Muslims believe in a different God.

        • It's debatable but I'd say yeah. Anyone familiar with all three knows they are monotheistic abrahamic religions that overlap with each other quite a bit but at the end of the day its subjective.

        • Yes and no. Jews and Christians believe in the God the Father, but Jews believe that Christ has not been born yet, and since the Son and Father are technically the same, then no. And Islam uses the Bible, but their God in the Quran vastly contradicts what God says in the Old and New Testaments.
Who the -blam!- has a World Cultures class?
• Let me reiterate: If we cannot prove the existence of a God, we cannot claim three distinct religions worship the same God. We cannot attribute facts to a being that cannot be proven factual. Your argument is silly and it's especially silly for an atheist to make.

Okay here's my rundown There was this guy named Abraham Abraham Was told that he would have millions and millions of descendants Abraham lost his patience and tried to speed things up by doing it with his servant He and his servant had a child named Ishmael God didn't like that Abraham disobeyed his word so Ishmael was forced to live an awful life Now Ishmael goes and starts the religion we know as Islam Later, however, Abraham and his wife Sara have a son named Isaac Now Isaac goes to start the religion known as Judaism Which evolved into Christianity So yes, the origins of Islam and Judaism grew up worshiping the same God and passed it down to their decedents. Just each interpreted it in their own way The only difference is that Muslim know Mohammad as a profit and Christians and Jews don't Christians and Muslims know Jesus to be the son of God but Jews don't
