Use dust field grenades using those two perks.
The first is the stun perk and the other renews your grenade when you stun.
Sorry. Can’t remember what they’re called. I’m at work.
Anyway. That’s what I used to get my Icefall Mantels 😎
Edit: works best if you wait till the captain has his back turned.

I used the same setup my point been the captain was sat in the Grenade and was frozen but wasn't getting disrupted I ran out of patience and ran at him, he shattered, killed me and then got disrupted

Yeah it happens. That’s why it took me a few goes to get the hang of it. I got my light up to 1237 which helped I think.
