It definitely needs to be more casual friendly with some sort of mm protection that keeps casuals away from tryhards

  • Its not a casual game mode, however. its meant to be hardcore and challenging

  • That’s why it needs outlier protection… so try hards get challenged and casuals get a more fair experience

  • i do agree to that sentiment. the biggest issue is how matchmaking works in the lobbies in this game( its very inconsistent and designed to try and force lossed). The lines between "casual" and "hardcore" are quite thick as newer players to this game are at a severe disadvantage to someone who has played comp modes in this game for twelve hours a day for the last ten years. The actual issue here is the entry point for most. Having some sort of academy mode where you can learn and master the basics of pvp would help a ton, and also would mitigate some of the headache of teaming with players that run right into sniper lanes and get picked off immediately. A lot of people try to play this game as something it's not. This is a FPS and needs to be played tactically in order to survive and flourish. Getting a good team together helps with a big part of this, as it also a CO-OP Fps designed with coordination in mind and strategy. Tryhards will always exist, and trying to keep "casuals" away from playing with them will only hinder the casuals more in the long run. Sometimes hard lessons learned are the most vital to personal success and growth. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom in order to "git gud". The casual mindset is frail and easily broken. You can become the storm, or you can get washed away by it.
