I see that Kellogs and others have tried to help you with this issue, so I won't repeat what they said, except to say that it's [b]impossible[/b] for characters to be deleted due to server issues because they live on two entirely separate systems.
As for your ongoing issue involving multiple characters getting deleted, I took a look at your account login sessions, and nothing appears out of their ordinary. I have a hunch that someone you know, or someone who has access to your Xbox, is deleting your characters.

UPDATE!!!! 3/15/2021 So today I logged in and for the first time since my characters were deleted. I went ahead and I deleted the hunter because I am a Titan and Warlock main character player. I then went to my vault but NOW ALL MY ITEMS ARE DELETED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUNGIE PLEASE what is going on here? WHY IS MY VAULT EMPTY!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!!! Passwords changed and I have my account locked with no one knowing my information. WHY IS MY VAULT EMPTY!!!!!

I live alone. I'm in my 40's. I do everything myself, NO ONE knows my passwords, not even my brother I do share my brother's games. My Xbox is set as "Home Xbox". He does not know my password. All my stuff is GONE!

yes, I do game share. I share my brother's games. Since Destiny 1 we have always shared games and My Xbox is set as home. This started happening on day one of Season of the Chosen and has not stopped.

So unfortunately the only way to really prove this is occurring as a technical glitch is to either record this occurring during the reset period. Live streaming it would be the best case scenario for seeing it reset during that time. The other option is to drastically change your settings and remove game sharing and basically isolate the account from any other activity.

If I had to guess, this likely has something to do with abusing the gameshare feature. Just be adults and buy your own copies of games...

You may want to move your Xbox to another location in your living space that can't be touched by anyone else.

Hi, thank you for the reply. I live alone, no one knows my passwords. I do share my brother's games and this includes Destiny 2. We never had an issue until Season of the Chosen came out on day one. My Xbox is set as "Home Xbox" it's been like this for years. So last night I logged and create a new titan and warlock, then I go on the Destiny 2 companion app to transfer a weapon and that's when I see my entire vault deleted. Last week this happened to my brother, he lost all of his vault, and his light level was back down two levels. Also, just today another player I know told my brother his vault was gone and light level down to 200. All I ask Bungie is that if you can look into my account and see if you find something. If you can recover my account from before Season of the Chosen that would be great. Again, I live alone, My Xbox is "Home Xbox" because my brother shares his games. No one and not even my brother have my passwords. This has been our setup for years for no issues until Day 1 of Season of the Chosen.

Hi there! Is it possible to disable the sharing as a test, to see if your character data remains intact? I would test it for a week and see if everything remains.

Thank you for replying. The only thing I can tell you is that no one knows any personal information from me. Maybe this will clear things. I have two Xbox's, one is with my brother (who lives alone and is a solo player) and the other Xbox is with me. Since my brother purchased Destiny 2 and all of the DLC's, he made my Xbox the "Home Xbox" Ever since Forsaken, we have never had any issues and everything worked perfectly. This started just after Season of the Chosen was released. The next day, I lost my Titan and Warlock, then I replayed all stories again, and two weeks later on RESET day around 3 PM PST I lost my Titan and Warlock again. I changed my password again on Both Xbox's because of the "My Home Xbox option" and I replayed all stories again. Then on March 9th, 2021 around 2 PM PST the same thing happened. I asked my brother to log into his Destiny 2 account to see if it could be a sync issue and then he noticed he lost everything in his VAULT and his Character light level was much lower than the previous week. He still has all his characters, but not at the light level it was. So, you can imagine how upset he is now. My brother and I are the only ones that play Destiny 2 and we do play many times as a team. Both of us online had no issues playing Destiny 2 until Season of the Chosen was released. For many years my Xbox is set up as HOME and I never had any problems with any games. I also had no issues with Destiny 2 and having access to all the DLC's, no issues until Season of the Chosen was released and on that same day on a Tuesday is when this problem started happening. So, no one has my password, My brother does not have my password My brother and I don't do recoveries I already changed my password. I also notice that one wastedondestiny.com my account shows being deleted every hour and sometimes minutes for Destiny 2, but no issues on Destiny 1 I appreciate everyone's help but it's frustrating when you continue to see your hard work get deleted every week. Maybe someone can figure this out and not tell me someone manually deleted my characters. Bungie, if you can look at my account just after Season of the Chosen was released, maybe you'll see something and maybe a pattern. Just frustrated and don't know what else to do. Thank you.

Are you 100% sure that your brother is not playing on the same destiny account as you? Cause uh, that sounds like you guys keep resetting each other's progress.

100% sure. He only plays on his account. He is the type of person that will ask me permission first for anything with respect. The only time he has ever played on my account was in front of me, meaning I was sitting next to him and I needed help with the crucible.

Listen, we are grown men, we ain't kids. He is the pickiest MF you can ever imagine. He does NOT use my account or ever signs in. We talk every day and see each other every day. He is much upset about this as I am. While we were on the phone, I told him to log into his account while I was on my account. He was so angry when in front of his eyes he saw his VAULT wiped out and his characters were NOT deleted BUT his light level was back down from 3 weeks ago. I ain't making this up. My characters were deleted 3 times. He does not have my passwords or anything and I don't have non of his.

Well it seems like there is indeed a link going on there if you guys saw it get deleted when you logged in at the same time. Something is linking there.

I'm not sure why you are ranting at me like I can do something. We have given you suggestions based on what you say. This screams user error to me, you are literally the only person this is happening to in this forum. So figure out how the xboxs or your accounts are connected. I'm not a magician.
