Those super changes all affect PvE, regardless of how many were using NW. Blade Barrage doesn't hit as hard in PvE now, I thought it wouldn't be affected since it was a damage transference from knife damage to explosive damage but it feels weaker.
You have a point that those nerfs in PvE were due to the usage of those weapons however there have still been occasions when weapons just stopped being viable after nerfs in PvP.
Scout rifles have been pretty bad for a while and while they've been buffed, they're still not great. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure a PvP nerf helped that along a long time ago. Then the sleeper nerf because it was causing annoyance in gambit which is a PvE/PvP hybrid.
Again, I could be wrong but it's always felt like PvP gets more attention than once does. In the last month it got alot of attention but almost every time it gets any attention it's for nerfs, with the exception of the go fast update, etc.
As I said, everyone gets so focused on PvP balance that PvE tends to be forgotten about, I guess I should add unless it's for nerfs because surprise surprise Bungie realise we use only a few weapons because they're the strongest weapons we have. How long till they nerf DARCI? Or Jotun?
