I remember getting the thorn by completing the bounty and then throwing it straight into the vault thinking only cowards use that weapon and at the time I was shit at shotgunning and thought only cowards use those aswell. My pride wouldn't let me use either but I soon realised that those 2 things go hand in hand 😂, and my kills and kill streaks drastically increased

Well this was when those were king during HOW, and not as many sniped then as now. Also isn't that kinda how your supposed to use a sniper? Hold back and watch high traffic areas?

Yeah doesnt make them any less of a pussy, at least with a shotgun the opponent can retaliate

Right now maybe, but doesn't necessarily make em cowards, this is just a game you gotta adapt or deal with it, but going back to house of wolves everyone could easily get the most op shotguns and OHK you at stupid ranges for a shotty. But its honestly this games PvP mechanics and servers are such a mess from nerfs and stuff snipers are one of the only effective things. Since shotguns got nerfed no one likes to use them as much. And most scout and autos and HCs can't be used since everyone follows the metas.
